Head Gasket Repair 92 960 190k 900

I had to change my head gasket also. I did it myself without any special tools and it was tedious and slow. Took a long weekend about 15 hours. It took care of the oil leak though. Would I do it all over again is a question I hope I never have to face. If my engine did not use any oil maybe I would change it again, if I could get my hands on some of the special tools to make it easier, I don't know.

If you do this, DO NOT have the valves done without changing pistons with new rings or at the very least new rings. I guess it depends on the condition of the car and how are the other systems doing, any rust, do you have emissions tests in the area.

I know it can get expensive to keep patching things to keep it running.

Best of luck
