She's alive!!!!!

I'm the guy who's 88 gle turbo wagon was stolen. When I got it back, she was really in pain.

Updates:
Got her running like a champ now. Working on restoring the interior thanks to a couple in GA who are parting one out.

As to all the oil smoke: as assumed, the excess oil level was allowing the engine vacuum to pull oil into the intake.

As to the flooding: sure enough, it was the fuel pressure regulator (also as assumed, this was the source of excess oil level)

Brakes still in need of attention, but much better after a good fluid bleed.

Questions:
Still having a smoke issue when first started after sitting. After driving the car a mile or so, oil smoke is gone. Sound like turbo oil seals?

Also, I'm going to have a B G top engine clean done on the car....... think I should yank the intercooler & clean it out myself first?

My condolences about the car theft. Nice that you got it back without it being drestroyed. Startup oil in most non-turbo cars means leaking valve guide seals. This probably isn't the case since volvos don't wear out like that very often. Could be oil seals, but I'm not too versed in turbo oil problems, despite having a turbo car of my own, and coincidentally, going through oil burn problems... About the intercooler, yea thats a good idea to clean out the IC before the cleaning. Take it out of the car, drain the oil out of it if theres a lot, then spray a bunch of carb cleaner (or paint thinner, its cheaper and almost the same thing) into both sides of it, then let it sit for a while then spray it out. should be nice and clean after that. Good luck.
