740 Trailer Hitch Compatibility from Wagon to Sedan 700

Hi,
I have a 1/4 reciever trailer hitch on a 92 740 wagon. Will this fit directly onto an 89 740 sedan? Any thing I should look out for when installing this?

The trailer hitch is a direct swap. Of course you will have to modify the plastic splash guard.

Thats my understanding too, FYI the hitch from the 700 series also fits the 900, i just swapped one from a 740 sedan to a 940 wagan!
