Watery Brakes?? 200 1993

What does water in brake fluid feel like in the pedal?

What does Air in there feel like?

My pedal travels further than any car I've driven and the pedal always feels kind of soft. Brakes work fine once the begin to grab. The pads are brand new up front and backs look fine too.

Could this be air or water in the lines?

I know the booster has a slight leak, but that should make the brakes "harder" if anything.

Thanks for any help.

It sounds like air in the system and it's very dangerous to drive the car with it, which happened to me once after doing a one-man bleeding. I highly recommend the pressure bleeding kit (from IPD) for doing a flush as soon as possible.
