Seat swap - 140===>240 140-160

Ok, I've heard enough to believe that the 240 fronts will go into my 140 with ease. Question: Will the station wagon rear seats/flip-down mechanism bolt into the 140? Hope so, I've found a really nice set at the pick-and-pull.

Thanks

WRT the fronts:

With ease, yes, if you have the right parts. REQUIRED are the seat bases from a 74 140 or 74-75 164. Well, not required, but if you don't have them you'd better be a good fabricator.

I put 242 seats in my '73 142. The seat frames cost next to nothing at the yard for trashed seats.

Just to make sure, get out your measuring tape and check it out!
My 73 145 is VERY like Susan's 80 245 in the rear.
