Calibrated boost guage 700 1988

Just bought one, diameter 2 and 5/8 inch, and have just mounted it in the vent nearest the drivers window. Removed vent housing 1st obviously !!
It is such a brilliant fit, has anyone else tried this? Had any problems ?

Please take a picture of this. I'm getting one of these soon and I'm still trying to decide where to mount it.

Thanks

That's where I have mine.... :)

I used a guage surround from a 240T, but it's kinda falling apart (after 2 years) and I want to re-make it in wood, covered in black vinyl to match the dash...

What did you use?

Calibrated boost guage 700 1988

Hi Paul..

fits in the hole snugly top to bottom with no need for any thing else.
I`m going to make up a false panel from black plastic cut to shape to cover the small gap on the side and put it in place with double sided tape, have experimented with a cardboard cut out and it should look fine..

Cheers Mike

Could you please take a picture after you are finished and post it back here when you are finished.

I was about to buy the A Pillar for my boost gauge, but you placement sounds pretty good. I will wait to see what your set up looks like but going forward with my install. Thanks.
