IPD Dashcover...Any good? 200 1982

As are most 240 dashes, mine has numerous unsightly cracks. The rest of the interior and plastic parts are mint. I noticed that IPD sells a glue on dash cover; has ayone had experience with them? Installation sounds simple, but how about paint matching?
Any replies are much appreciated.

Had one installed in my 740 Gle. Like it and looks real cool.. It has warped
at the vents side in the Texas heat though. I don't think its a big deal though, probably need to reglue the warping edges. After summer, of course.

Calgary, Alberta. Where a lot of Texas cowboys are right now for The Stampede. It isn't that warm here so they will probablly last longer.

I have one sitting in my garage that I haven't installed yet. I set it in place on top of my cracked dash and it does look very good. Just need to start the project one morning as it appears that the car shouldn't be driven for that day. The cap fit perfectly over the dash and just needs to be glued in place. The kit even came with glue.

I actually got mine from a former brick owner who bought it for his brick and never installed it.

I'll post pics after installation. This will finish my restoration of my interior.

I recently installed one in my 78 242 and I have to say that it looks like I installed a new dash. Luckily my dash was black so no painting was needed. I found that the cover was a little longer than needed, but you have to know where to look to see it. I'd say it's worth the $50. Here are a few pics that I took a few days ago to give you an idea how it looks.

A few years ago, some of the dash caps would go on to crack after a year or so, but I have heard they corrected that problem. Personally, I like the fuzzy covers better and use them on all my fleet dashes, cracked or not.
