idle speed 200

i have a B230 intake manifold with an idle speed motor. how do i adjust the idle speed with this motor? i'm used to the adjustable screw, and my haynes book doesnt say about to set the base idle with the motor.

If you are talking about a B230F (only version I have worked with), there is an idle stop screw on the side of the throttle body. You can loosen the lock nut and turn the screw in to increase the idle speed, or out to reduce it. WARNING! Once you are done, MAKE CERTAIN that you tighten the lock nut completely! If you do not, the stop screw stud can vibrate down and cause the throttle to jam open... it ain't a purdy thing when it happens on the freeway!

Also, if the idle air bypass motor doesn't seem to be working, remove it and clean it out with a potent carb cleaner... makes a world of difference.
