Sylvania Silverstar 200 1988

Hi All.

Has anyone tried the Sylvania Silverstar Head light Bulbs on their bricks? I hear they are about 20% brighter than the Sylvania Xtra visions bulbs. Prices are not that bad either. I can't remember the site but this site had them for 49.00 including shipping and there is a10.00 mail in rebate. Anybody outthere using these bulbs?

I use them on two 940's and they are brighter than other stock, "extra", "longlife", etc. bulbs, without going into expensive modifications that I don't want or need. If you want better lighting without spending a bunch try them. I got mine from "truckstuff.com."

I had a conversation with Daniel Stern (auto lighting guru) about the silverstars - he is embarrassed for Sylvania that they would sell this junk. The "color temp" hype is just marketing. Save your money.
