Occasional No- Starts- 1990 745T 700 1990

About once a month, after a short drive (typically 20 minutes mixed highway/city) my '90 745T refuses to start. When I turn the key, all the accessories come on, voltage reads normal, but nothing from the starter. A jump start fixes the problem 100% of the time, and the car starts instantly when jumped. My mechanic checked the alternator, voltage regulator, and battery, and they're all ok. Any ideas?

If the starter refuses to move, with no clicking from the solenoid, then your problems is likely the ignition switch electrical portion. See the FAQ.
