Flat Hood Conversion 200

Has anyone here done a flat hood conversion of their 240? I've searched the archives both here and at Turbo Bricks and found some useful information, but I have some questions. I have an '81 242t and really like the look of the '83 Group A Turbo and would like to do something along those lines. As far as I can tell, all I'd really have to change is the hood and grill and keep my quad headlight setup.

Do the bumpers from the later 240s fit the early cars with Commando bumpers? Do they just bolt on or is there any fabrication involved?

Are all flat hoods created equal? Can I use any of the '75 through '80 hoods? I haven't noticed any difference in the photos I have, but details can be difficult to see, especially in web based photos.

And finally...where would one find the grill used on the Group A cars? Was it used on any other car? With less than 500 of the cars built, I can't imagine that there are many in circulation, yet Dave Barton seems to have one on each of his cars and I've seen a few others in photos.
