brake booster 1800 1973

I need info/location of an overhaul kit for the brake booster on a '73 ES, last four of serial #5487.

I don't think you can overhaul your own brake booster unless you happen
to be in that business. It takes special fixtures to get them apart,
and (more importantly) to get them back together. Someone posted the
name and address of a booster rebuilder a couple years ago, but I have
lost that info. Maybe that kind person will post it again. Meanwhile
go to your nearest salvage and look around. A booster for a 140 will
probably also work.

I knew about White Post for brake cylinders but I was unaware that they
did boosters also. White Post is not the brake booster specialist
identified on this site some months back but probably a very good choice.
