How do You Install 960 Armrest into a 940 ?

Just picked up a complete leather interior from a 94 960 for my wife's 940. All seats are installed but centre armrest presented some probs.

Does the 960 armrest and bin simply slide into the 940 bin once the lid has been removed from the 940 bin ? If so how do you remove the lid hinge from the 940 ?

The 960 armrest is not supposed to fit the 940. You can try to modify the armrest and bin to make it fit. Remove the 940 lid and hinge by unscrewing the hinge at the back: you may need to pull the console out.
