hole in hose 700 1987

I found some holes in the flexible portion of the hose from my amm to the throttle body. Does anybody have a good fix for patching these hoses or should i buy new. I'm thinking i might find one at the pick yard but it would likely be holy or soon to be holy.

I have made a successful repair using some urethane caulking found at any auto parts store. It seems to be a good repair in a pinch or if you are tight on cash and can't replace the whole thing at this time.

With junkyard hoses you obviously take the risk that they might actually be worse than your current ones. Or you might get lucky and find a recently wrecked 740 with new hoses? always possible. I faced this same dilemma and ended up just ordering new MTC hoses from FCPgroton. They cost much less than Volvo hoses and seem to be made just as well. Plus if I find a hole I can send them back and get a replacement. FCPgroton seems to be pretty honest and they will usually do the right thing.

Duct tape is a temporary fix, but get a new hose before your car acts up due to vacuum leaks.
