850 wheels on my 240? 200 1993

Hi all

Anyone know if I can put stock 1997 850 wheels on my 1993 240 without any problems? Bolt pattern the same? How about offset?

Thanks

Bolt pattern is indeed the same: 5 on 108mm diameter. Wheel adapters required to fit RWD applications. Unfortunately the FWD rims run right into the struts, control arms, and the inside of the trunk without spacers on a 240.
Adapter kits run in th $300 range.

Rob is right about needing spacers to clear the STOCK strut mounts. You can make them fit by cutting the lower spring plate down and using a (much) smaller spring of comprible specifications.Mike Saccone (top volvo technician in the nation a year or so ago per volvo's competition) is running a set up he claims to have put together for under $200 using catalog parts,(on his wifes car)! So,"bolt on",NO,but don't be afraid to think "outside...."
