washer tank interchangeability 200 1981

Our windshield washer tank is starting to crack across the top. Are these interchangeable across all years of 240's?

Thanks,
Jeff

I could easily be wrong, but I thought that the tank on at least my turbo was considerably larger than most of the other 240s I've seen in junkyards, but that's just my impression. I was actually hoping to replace mine with a smaller tank from another 240, just never got around to researching it.
Here's a pic showing the tank on my turbo, right against the driver's side strut tower. If anyone else with a turbo has a stock smaller tank, could you let me know where it is?

That intercooler will work better if you hook it up. :)

I have an '82 that I'm intercooling right now. What's the weird ribbing on your turbo-to-intake hose?

I used a picture of my car a couple years ago to best illustrate the wiper tank. I did find the car much nicer with the engine bay looking a little more like this

But thanks for the tip :)
I have no idea what that ribbing on that pipe was for. It is a cast al pipe, not just the thin wall stuff, and does have a Volvo symbol and part number cast into it. I found it on a junkyard 84 244T with no intercooler. I'm assuming that it was intended as a very very tiny intercooler, but I'm betting it just acts as one pretty looking heat sink.
Good luck intercooling. Its fun, and certainly nice.
