Did anybody ever tried the procedure described at:

Would like Volvo owners opininon on how effective or bad this treatment is on B230F engines.

Probably would disolve some stuff. I have also taken a garden hose and drizzeled water down the carb as well. This tends to steamclean the piston tops and such. On cars with induction like Bricks I suppose one would have to rig up a jug with a hose coming out of it and running it to a vacuum fitting somewhere.
