I installed a Pioneer head unit, the same head unit I had in my 740. For some reason, I have absolutely no AM reception. The stock radio I pulled out of the car had perfect AM. I noticed this car has an in-glass antenna, where the 740 had a regular mast. Could this be the reason? How do i fix this?

WOW i just installed a pioneer head unit also no AM!!!! must be the antenna design?????? or is it pioneer? I need my sports!!!!!!!!! help!!!!!!!!

When I've had loss of AM, it was due to a poor antenna connection. Maybe somwthing got pulled loose in the antenna connector when you made the swap.
