I am in the process of removing the headliner in my 83 wagon--has anybody removed the rear view mirror that is attached to the ceiling? No visable fasteners, I can see/feel two notches next to the headliner close to the windshield, but there must be a trick and I don't know it!

Just pull real hard. Pull back and away from the windshield. It pops right back on.

I'll explain how to re-attach the mirror in a little bit, after I take a couple of pictures to help explain.

Pull it down and back... it is on a spring clip.. You won't break it... Mac
