We're Pullin' Left 200

And we're pullin' BIG TIME. I can almost turn a corner simply by letting go of the steering wheel...

I've done nothing at all to the front end, except make sure the tire pressures are correct. My question: is there anything I can do at home to ease, if not cure, this problem?

I have read that my power steering may be unequal, but apart from this, I suspect that either camber or toe-in, possibly both, are MILES off.

Any thoughts or suggestions would surely be appreciated, and by the way: the tires are worn on both edges, but properly inflated. ????? Brendan.

If you jack up the front end in the center, so both wheels are off the ground, and runthe engine, and release the steering wheel, the wheel should not turn.
If it cranks itself over to the left steering lock, then something weird is up with the steering rack.
I've heard of a procedure called "balancing the rack" but I have not seen it done. This test will rule out (hopefully) that kind of a problem.
    Good luck!

I agree with Philip, have the front end checked and aligned. If it still pulls you may have a bad tire, sometimes the belts or cords will seperate internally and cause a nasty pull to one side.

    Good luck,

Go get the alignment checked at a good shop. If they cannot get it into spec, they should not charge you. If they find a worn or damaged component, they will tell you (and hope that you have them fix it). But whenever I have taken a car in for alignment and it could not be aligned for any reason, I have never been charged for the attempt.
