We're Pullin' Left 200

If you jack up the front end in the center, so both wheels are off the ground, and runthe engine, and release the steering wheel, the wheel should not turn.
If it cranks itself over to the left steering lock, then something weird is up with the steering rack.
I've heard of a procedure called "balancing the rack" but I have not seen it done. This test will rule out (hopefully) that kind of a problem.
Good luck!
