automatic to manual conversion 120-130

I have everything to do a conversion from auto to man on a 122 except for the tran brace and propeller shaft. Anyone know where I can get them from a yard or used. Thanx

Contact Joe Lazenby at Susquehanna Spares, he has just about every 122 part imaginable along with many complete cars. He is located in Carlisle PA

I understand that the automatic to manual conversion on a 122 is very difficult. The auto and manual 122 bodies have different floor pans.

Have you considered this problem?

Paul

It's not that bad...
on mine I made new rear mounts and welded them to the body, and just reused the auto rear support. Driveshaft off a 240 worked on my car with some flange swapping, and that was about it.
Oh, yeah, ya gotta cut a hole for the shifter!
Perversely, it's a different tunnel, but the bracket to hold the clutch tube's there! Go figure...

I did it to a '67 without any problem. Manual crossmember fit fine.

Noticed from your previous post that you gave up on the auto., good choice. The trans cross member is really just a piece of flat steel with a 45 deg., twist in the middle. You could make one with a bbq and some and an anvil. Barring that, try Stephan at www.volvoworld.com, the part will be cheap, just shipping.. Also the d-shaft, any tranny shop will shorten/lengthen yours. That being said thw easiest is another donor car. Where are you?
