Update on Surging and ECU 200

Thanks to all previous posters for their insights.

Update on previous posts for surging 1990 240 DL

Air Mass Meter was replaced with used unit
Air Control Valve and Throttle Switch were replaced. They were pretty well crudded up.
No vacuum leaks.

The car now idles nicely for a couple of minutes before going back to surging, but not so strongly.

My wife starts teaching again in a week so I can't ride with her after that. The car needs to get fixed. So:

I ordered rebuilt replacement for ECU (which was a 561 model) rebuilt unit will be 951.

Oxygen sensor
Water temperature sensor
Rebuilt Air Mass Meter (in case that's still the problem all along)

Update on Surging and ECU 200

Eric, Just a thought here, My cars acted it up when I cleaned the throttle and idle components. Art mentioned that if you drive them for a few minutes and sstrat them a few times the ECu while relearn the idle positions. It worked for me, the next day they ran great.
