This isn't true, I had caliper clearance issues with '88 780 15 spoke 15x6J on our '88 245. I needed 3 mm spacer to get the piston portion of the caliper to clear the wheel's spoke to hub transition corner.
I'm still curious what special about the '88 780 wheels. Where these early ABS cars w/ funky calipers?
Anyway, the wheels look bitchin', and I've never seen another 240 with them.
