240 Away Bar Bushings 200

I just replaced worn front sway bar bushings with IPD polys. Haynes lists 33 foot pounds of torque for the front sway bay bolts, but doesn't mention the nut on the drop link. I replaced the two bushings on each side here as well. How far should they be tightened? Any info would be appreciated.

240 Away Bar Bushings 200

I searched through some old postings some time ago, and someone posted information on this. The adjustment on these is determined by the spacing between the inside edges of the washers (ie. the point where they are closest together). The diagram showed a measurement of 42 mm, or 1.65".

Probably about 15 pounds is it.. The idea being you do not crush the rubber mounts really bad... You just want these snug enough to work and not tighter.. Mac
