cleaning out the valves 900

thier is a valve sticking in my '94 960, i bought it with it, its not bad but its something ive noticed and it causes the engine to vibrate more then it should,
ive put pure synthetic instead of dino, any way to clear out the carbon gunk quicker?

Whatever you do don't add any of the miracle oil additives. Synthetic is a good start. You could try the Italian tune up as described in the 700/900 FAQ. Run the engine in low gear on the freeway at 4500-5000 RPM for a minute or two. You can't hurt the engine doing this as long as you have a sound cooling system. Also uneven idle can be caused by other things such as a leak in the intake system. I also noticed a vibration when sitting at a stop light. Its slight and far from anoying, but other times it will be perfectly smooth. I suspect there is a vacuum leak somewhere but I haven't bothered to look for it.
