Whatever you do don't add any of the miracle oil additives. Synthetic is a good start. You could try the Italian tune up as described in the 700/900 FAQ. Run the engine in low gear on the freeway at 4500-5000 RPM for a minute or two. You can't hurt the engine doing this as long as you have a sound cooling system. Also uneven idle can be caused by other things such as a leak in the intake system. I also noticed a vibration when sitting at a stop light. Its slight and far from anoying, but other times it will be perfectly smooth. I suspect there is a vacuum leak somewhere but I haven't bothered to look for it.
