Tornado Fuel Saver - Another Gimmick?

Supposedly, you install this fan in the air intake between the AMM and the air filter. It atomizes the air and improves mileage from 8-20% and HP by 13. Has anyone tried this? I've read mixed reviews. One of the best arguements against it was that, if it really worked, Detroit would have added it to all cars and SUVs to meet EPA requirements.

I view these and K&N filters both to be crap, on one had we have the tornado which improves efficiency and HP by mixing up the airflow. And, on the other hand we have K&N who straightens airflow and adds HP.

It's pure trash designed only to remove money from your pocket. It is not even a fan, just a bunch of cheap tin bent into a circle.

The ad's pure horseshit.

Think about it. If the gizmo really worked, cars would already have 'em.

However, the device DOES accomplish one thing very well.

Guess what?

Precisely. Just like the fabled 100mpg carburetor of yore.
