Stuck Oil Trap 200 1989

I removed the two 13 mm bolts and the flame trap, but something is preventing the oil trap from coming out.

Any ideas?

The bottom of the oil S-box has a little flange that sticks down into a hole in the block. The box must be lifted and then pulled out.

OR, it may be just stuck onto the block tightly. Are you replacing it? If yes, use a thin flat-tip screwdriver between the block and the box, and gently pry it up. If it cracks the box - well you were replacing anyway, right? But- be careful to keep any little pieces from falling into the hole and thus into the oil pan.

Good Luck,

Bob
