86 B230F, TPS Loom, No power?? 200 1986

Hi all, Tried testing the loom going to the TPS switch with a 12v test lamp earthed to the engine, but none of the three pins seem to light up?? it the power to the tps 12v? or is it not enough to light up?, when i place the testlight in the end terminal the engine revs seem to change though.
Help anyone?

There is no power there in a static (not running) situation. The ECU does put a signal (5V ?) on the orange wire, which will be grounded if the throttle is closed, or fed back to the ECU by the Blue/White wire if the throttle is wide open.

The TPS adjustment is done to meet those two conditions. Especially the closed/idle one.
