Hi guys:
I have a problem with the electric sunroof on my 87 744 GLE,318K.
The electric motor seems to work well. When I try to open the vent it does it, but with noise... However, when it comes to completly open the sunroof,although
I can hear the motor,the sunroof seems to hit something or somehow gets stuck
and goes nowhere.1 or 2 mechanics I talked to about it,seem to put the solution into some sort of million dlr job!
I need to replace the lining and seal around the sunroof,but would like to solve the sunroof problem if anybody has any ideas .

Check the FAQ 700/900 section on Brickboard main page. There is a lot of info there on Sunroofs, motor, cranks, etc. I just cleaned the microswitches (2) in the sunroof motor hoping that will solve my problem (motor clicks, does not move).
