1983 2.3 LH. Distributor harness is round, is harness interchangeable with square plug?

Hi Guys. I am replacing the engine and ignition harnesses in my '83 wagon. LH fuel injection. My replacement ignition harness has a square plug for the distributor, my car has the weird round plug. Are these harnesses interchangeable with just the plugs switched out? My distributor has the reddish cap.

I tried to sell my 83 ignition harness on eBay last week, but no buyers..Only someone who complained that her Volvo had the square and mine had the round plug.
I still have it and if you want the correct Ignition harness for your 83 (Bosch with the round plug), email me off line and we can work out a deal.

I think so, as long as wire colors (Red, Yellow, Black) are the same.
