1992 745ti Parts Car 700

I have two 745ti's (1987 and 88). I have an opportunity to pick up a 1992
745ti parts car for $150. Hit in the rear so engine is fine. Is just about everything on this 1992 mechanically similar to my 87/88? Is this a good deal? Thanks for the help.

    The 1992 car has different fuel injection and ignition. Everything else interchanges. The rear end should be an Eaton locker, and will directly replace the rear end in your 1988 car (but not the 1987 car). The engine will be the much stronger K block with the 13mm connecting rods. Your 1987 and 1988 cars have the weaker 9mm connecting rods.
