window regulator broke out of the door 700

my left driver side window regulator broke and by doing that,
it also broke one of the nuts, where its fixed in the door, out.
So now there is a 3/4 inch hole there, where was the nut before.
How do I fix that ?
I was thinking about a big washer, but wouldn't the regulator
then be out of alignment ??
Welding ?
Gluing ?
Any other method ?

A big washer should work. The other three studs should keep it in alignment. Use loctite on the nuts as these always come loose.
