Hey Guys,

My 92-745 will not start. The starter used to stay on a little after starting, but would start. During the really cold times, the car would not start, but no clicking from the solenoid and no turning over. I would have good juice but no nothing. I would try 3 or 4 times and it would then start. Now, I have good juice, but no clicking or turning over or anything. Connections are good, fuse is good. I have tried to start it in nuetral and adjusting the shifter in park. What is the most probable culprit? Solenoid or starter itself? Is the solenoid on the starter?

Proably solenoid, but why not just remove the entire starter/solenoid assembly and take it to a local auto electric shop for a complete rebuild? This will fix any problems cheaply.

Could a faulty starter inhibitor switch cause the same symptoms?
