Blowoff sound

I was at a car show the other day and began to wonder...
Is there any way to increase the amount of noise created when the blowoff valve, well, blows-off? (It's an 89 740 Turbo)
Thanks,
Robb

YES, there is a way especially if you have a Mistubishi style turbo(the one with the brass clamp pulling the hot & cold side of the turbo together,INTERNAL WASTEGATE) or the Garret turbo charger( with the externel wastegate)aLL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SET YOUR SELF UP WITH A COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM PREFFERABLY FROM K&N, as I did. Itll give you that woosh!! sound. Underneath your windshield washer fluid tank is aplate of metal that spaces together your frame and fender (no porpuse) Cut a hole through the metal plate exposing the pavement, and set yourself up with some plumbing outside the vehicle, with a K&N filter and your styling. Just simply hook up your plumbing to import side of your MAS AIR SENSOR!

If noise is really want you want, just go out and buy a $200+ blow off valve, one that vents to the air rather then back into the system, it won't make the car any faster, but if noise is what you want?
