e-code lenses only...will they work? 700 1990

A friend of mine found a source for e-code lenses for my 740. What else would I have to have (other than electrical issues such as relays and heavier wiring)? I guess what I am asking ...Will the factory assembly accept the lenses or are modifications required?

thanks in advance

Care to share your e-code source? I promise I won't buy them all :) 700 1990

Depends on what you are replacing. I replaced the corner markers on my volvo 240 with e-code lenses with no special adaptation. If you are just replacing the lens it should work. E-code is short for european code which is another way of staing a difference in the lens coloration. My original lenses for front markers are clear/clear. E-code lenses are Amber/clear. Like I stated before, it depends on what you are changing.

You have to replace the entire assembly plus the corner markers.

Lenses???
What is "Lenses"?
Do you mean "Headlight Assemblies"?
Complete replacement is required.
