wabbling driveshaft flange 700

the other day i was checking the u joints on my 86 740 and noticed alot of play where the flange enters the transmission no leaks just wabble when you shake it is this normal?

hi there if you need the tailshaft bushing it is no fun to do. it sucks. there is a tool to pull the bushing out, that makes it much easier you might want to consider paying someone with this tool. or you have to pull the tail section off and then replace the bushing. if yours is not leaking it will soon leak. good luck. thats my experience

the bushing in the trans is worn, allowing the driveshaft to wobble. check the ujoints and make sure there are no frozen 1s good luck, chuck.
