Charging the new A/C Compressor 900 1995

Good evening
The A/C compressor pulley on this 95,960 gave way and next thing, shredded belt drive. We replaced the compressor, but charging it, there is a problem. We cannot locate the Low/High pressure intakes, so we just went ahead and charged the line and checked for leaks. No leaks, but the system dose not cool the way it should (very little cooling).
The question is, did we go about doing the right way of charging the system or is there other procedures to follow in order to increase the cooling?
Thanks.

I may be wrong, but judging from your description I think you may be missin the basics of operating this system.

After replacing a compressor, you also need to replace the receiver/dryer, the orfice tube, and install the correct amount of PAG oil in the receiver/dryer and compressor.

The system then needs to be evacuated before a fixed weight of R134a is put into the system. There is no high pressure port needed in the OEM set up as the control system runs by controling the pressure on the low side.

Did you vacuum out the system before charging it?
How exactly did you"charge the line" without locating a low pressure port?
