I thought that I'd seen this asked before, but I couldn't find it. I'm swapping a new CD/radio unit in my 1993 940T. I'd hoped that my wiring diagram from my 94 960 would work, but it doesn't match.

Can anyone give me the wiring for the 1993 940T with CR814 factory radio with amp? All I need are the colors for the ACC, +12V, antenna power and the + - for all of the speakers.

Here are the colors for a '94 940, but will probably be the same for your '93.
Factory Radio Connector Wires:

pink/black-12 volts at all times
orange-switched 12 volts
black-ground
green/grey-12 volts at all times
2-white/yellow-instrument lamps
green/purple-antenna amplifier(supply with 12 volts to power amp)
brown-left dash speaker negative terminal
brown/white-left dash speaker positive terminal
grey-right dash speaker negative terminal
grey/red-right dash speaker positive terminal

Amplifier Connector Wires:

2-pink/black-12 volts at all times
2-black-ground
yellow/grey-left rear spkr negative terminal
yellow/brown- left rear spkr positive terminal
green-right rear spkr negative terminal
green/brown-right rear spkr positive terminal
grey-right front spkr negative terminal
grey/white right front spkr positive terminal
white-left front spkr negative terminal
blue/yellow-left front spkr positive terminal

I don't have a good wiring diagram right now but I ordered a Volvo Maintenance CD from eBay which is supposed to have everything including good wiring diagrams.

In the meantime, I do know that the green wire with the purple stripe must be connected to a switchable 12 volt source. This is for the antenna power. Someone on the board helped me with this several weeks ago and saved me a lot of grief..
