Please help.- I can't even begin to figure this one out by myself...My 244 which has never been an excellent running car just started running even worse. After about an hour on the highway it will start losing power. Massive amounts of pressure will build up in the tank...The fuel filter could be a bit on the slightly clogged side but not entirely stopped up...I was not able to find one that fits...It has new air filter, cap, rotor, timing set to specs...could there be something wrong with the canister? I mean there is supposed to be a certain amount of tank pressure...not a lot though, what controls this, I dont think it has a vapor vent solenoid like a modern car...there could be a misrouted vacuum hose but I believe they are hooked up properly...

I would first change that fuel filter. Maybe Napa can order you one.
