Hey all

Where and what is the least expensive good fix for a Wastegate Bypass Valve.
i am told $100 U.S?
seems like a lot
is there some repair kit, Automotive Goop!

I had the same problem last year, after talking to my Volvo mechanic he gave me good advice. I used Crazy glue, no kidding, and today looks better than ever! But you have to do it carefully, detail work. Clean around, and then glue it. Don't spend money for something that will probably get broken again sooner or later. Good luck.

On my TD 04-12B Mit turbo the wastegate valve did not look repairable.
The two parts were held together by rolled over metal all the way around.
I was quoted a price of $3??-$400 for a new one. $100 doesn't seem too bad. You might do better at a junk yard.
