Anyone got a good way to remove the pinstipes on the upper part of the door???

A little heat from a heat gun softens it up. Too little heat does nothing; too much heat causes it to break when pulling; way too much heat damages the paint. Practice helps as in when you get done you will be an expert. A soft wooden stick or a plastic scraper can come in handy.

They sell a device for removing the striping at a professional auto paint supply center but I have never had the opportunity to use one.

I heat up the pinstriping using a hairdryer(Or take advantage of hot weather) and pick away at it with my fingernails to remove it. Any glue residue can be removed easily using spirit or panel wipe.

I think that 3M sell a device which attaches to an electric drill to remove pinstriping :)

I've used the "eraser" type remover(not 3M, but the same)in an air drill with great success.
