AC Pressures? 200 1987

1. Can somebody tell me what the high side and low side pressures are suppose to be on the Air conditioning system in an '87 240?

2. Are the only access ports on the back side of the compressor? i think the one toward the driverside of the car is the Low side...is this correct?

Thanks for the help!

Pressure will depend on engine speed but should be in the 20s or 30s most of the time, dropping as revs increase. The low side is drivers side on every 240 I have seen.

According to my MVAC manual. low/suction 20-37, high/discharge 115-170.
There should be some kind of markings on the back, ususally suction/discharge.
Also, original system oil capacity=6.8oz and original ref r/12 capacity 2.86lbs. Hope this helps.
