toyota trannie conversion... 2 slip yokes? What shall I do? 140-160

Hello...
I finally got down tackling the trannie conversion project, I machined the old bell-housing down 3mm on each side and made a metal adapter to fit it to the "Supra" box.
Now I have 2 slip yokes... one on the trannie, and the other on the drive shaft. (the old trannie didn't have a slip yoke.) What shall I do? Or is it alright to have 2 slip yokes? (My 122S with the Saturn engine has 2 slip yokes...hehe) I just don't feel good about having apart able to move by itself... What do you guys thing?

Won't your center bearing pretty much keep it from moving endwise?

Hello.
That's the reason, because when I had the trannie out, I was able to pull the drive-shaft back and forth (With some force) and the rubber in the center support would move too. Maybe I ought to do something about that...hehe. (Probably weld some sort of a bracket to stop it from slipping back and forth.)

I got 2 slip yokes in my t5 conversion, but the front one is close enough between the center bearing and output shaft that it hardly moves at all.
Maybe make your front shaft a little longer...
