I was able to get the tach and small clock to work fine. Now my battery light, parking brake light, brake failure light are on. Although when I turn the lights on the go out. Also right turn signal arrow does not illuminate although turn signals work. I did have trouble getting the twelve pin connector to go all the way back on. It is not flush the the four pin is. Thoughts . . . I am desperate. I may take to the Volvo dealer. . . Help!

    I figured out that my dimmer switch is dimming and brighting the battery light, parking brake light and brake failure. How do I change this?

      Sounds like the pinned connectors are on the wrong way, if that is possible. It is beyond me how a tach addition can result on this otherwise, however.

        When trying to find the tach wire disconnect a wire from the dimmer switch that was white with red strip. I placed back in the dimmer switch when I discovered the correct one. The problem is now that I have everything back together my dimmer switch controls three lights in the dash. The battery light, brake failure light, parking brake light which I can make brighter and dimmer with the dimmer switch plus my right turn signal arrow does not work. I figure the signal arrow is a bulb but cannot figure out the dimmer. I have disconnected and reconnected turning 180 degrees and does not seem to matter.
