Complete bushing kits? 200

I just bought my wife a 1992 240 wagon with 105K on it. I am presently working at a dodge dealership and have access to tools and techs. This saturday I am going to flush the ATF, coolant, power steering fluid, bleed the brakes, change the plugs, rear diff fluid. What I would like to do is replace all of the bushings. What do you recommend. from what I just found it is not necessary to replace certain bushings. What else would you recommend? Everything works execpt the high beams, I will have to have someone look at it to determine if it is the blinker arm or relay. thanks in advance for any helpful information.

You may want to split it into 2 speparate jobs front and rear. When doing the front also consider the condition of the struts, strut mount bearings, ball joints and tie rods. Also a good time for the IPD sway bar upgrade. Best thing is to give them all a pretty good visual. In the rear the front rear trailing arm bushings hardly ever go and the rears almost always go. On a 1992 the only bushings that might be shot are the rear trailing arm ones. In the front its hard to tell the condition on the control arm bushings while intalled. Poly bushings are an upgrade worth considering. On my 1990 Wagon I went with a full poly set,Bilstein HD,IPD sways, ball joints and tie rods. I been very happy with the results.

again, i refer to dave shannon's page, who has superbly detailed differences in oem vs. aftermarket bushings (such as scan-tech). search dave shannon volvo & it'll be there.

go with boge, oem stuff. fcp groton prices can't be beat. if you do the ball joints, get federal/moog at fcp, also.

front control arm bushings don't go out that often as far as i noticed. i have an 86 wagon, and i replaced all of the front suspension anyway, and the front control arm bushings were still in pretty good shape.

i replaced all bec i did most of the work myself except those darn front c-a-bs.
noticeable difference in the drive, though.

get upgraded sway bars from a turbo or ipd upgrades (25mm fr/22 mm rear). i also put in bilstein t/class struts & shocks, and i did the strut mounts while i had the struts out.

if you get the sway bars, get the poly sway bar link bushings.

strut mounts, skf brand from again, fcp. good service & prices from nick at fcp.

just my experience. others
