rear wheel bounce 700

When I am at a stop an accelerate to quickly it feels as if the rear wheels bounce.Any suggestions?Thanks.

Yes, you're correct. This is usually due to bad bushings, although a car with good bushings can do it as well and the shocks do have an effect on it as well. If you really want to get rid of it, well, as much as you can, I'd suggest looking into replacing the bushings in the rear with polyurethane units. That should help the most. It's also referred to axle hop, and yeah, i know what you mean... :) Good luck!

I doubt that the wheels are actually bouncing. It is more likely that the rear axle bushings are allowing the axle to twist when you let out the clutch. This is a routine maintenance item for old RWDs (not easy, mind you, but routine).

Almost always due to rear shocks. How old are they?
