Crankcase ventilation on 740 16-valve 700 1990

Agree, best to pull the intake manifold . However this is a very simple job.
Just take ot the upper bolts but only loosen the lower ones. The lower manifold bolt holes are slotted and allows you to pull the manifold up and out.
Also allows the lower bolts to guide the manifold back in position. Have new gasket available .
