As I'm fast approaching 200K, thought i'd make the car look better than it ever did before. I started cleaning the intake manifold with my dremel and ended up polishing the whole head and manifold heat sheild. Wet sanding with 2000 grit finally made it shine like chrome.

How is that cone filter working out? Looks like it would take in a lot of hot air? Any more power? nm S90-V90

Took me a while to clean it over a few months actually and now its just easy stuff. I built a heat shealed , it raps around the top of fender and on the side by the radiator. Once the hood shuts, it forms a box. As far as power there's hardly any differance.

Toothbrush, wire brush, oh and here's where I went a little over board, dremel (dentist )extention with jewelry polishing attatchment. A little too much time on my hands :)

My question to you about the COOLANT TANK????
What is that from? Mine is clear and not boxy black plastic!!
Your's looks KILLER since it blends in well with the rest of the engine bay... And the Cap is the only thing making some nice contrast!

---> Betcha never thought you could get such a EGO over a stink'n engine bay, eh?? hehe
